WILLIAM H. ARTHUR
Funeral services for William H. Arthur, 64, of 938 Fairview Ave., Wheelersburg Rt. 5, are to be conducted at 3 p.m. Funeral Home in New Boston.
He died at 6:98 p.m. Sunday at Mercy Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Arthur was a native of Lewis County, Ky., and was a retired employe of Empire Detroit Steel Corp. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local 2116.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Julia Osborn Arthur, to whom he was married in 1935; two sons William J. Arthur, 8334 Granite St., Wheelersburg, and Richard Arthur, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Burnice Johnson of Franklin Furnace and Mrs. Sue Ann May of Dogwood Ridge; brother, Earl Arthur of Spencer St., Rosemount; five sisters, Mrs. Dora Walker and Mrs. Mina Bond, both of Fairview Ave., Wheelersburg, Mrs. Maude Raike of Spruce St., New Boston, Mrs. Bertha Sparks, 1315 Mabert Rd., and Mrs. Opal Rasmussen of Baltimore, Md.; stepsister, Mrs. Dorothy Mefford of Spring St.; and six grandchildren.
Rev. Marion White is to officiate at services. Interment is to be in Old Wheelersburg Cemetery.
