From Eugowra, Cabonne, New South Wales. Killed in action at Kameelpoort, NE of Pretoria. Initial burial site unknown. His remains were later reinterred at Petronella Military Cemetery, about 25km North of Pretoria.
He is also commemorated on the Australian War Memorial Roll of Honour at Treloar Crescent, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia; on St Matthew's Anglican Church Boer War Memorial Plaque in Bowler Street, Eugowra, Cabonne, New South Wales, Australia (see: https://vwma.org.au/explore/memorials/5910), and on the Forbes Boer War Memorial in Victoria Park, Court & Harold Streets, Forbes, New South Wales, Australia (see: https://vwma.org.au/explore/memorials/2922).
