MRS. HERMAN HARTMANN
The death occurred in Tenterfield Hospital yesterday of Mrs. Hermann Hartmann, of "Beulah," Dundee. The deceased lady, who was a member of the old and highly respected Roper family of Tenterfield, had since her marriage resided at "Beulah," her kindliness of heart and practical regard for the welfare of those with whom she was associated winning for her deep affection.
The late Mrs. Hartmann is survived by her husband, six daughters and one son. The daughters are Mesdames James Biddle (Glen Elgin), Eva McKillop (Armidale), O. Alt (Dundee), L. Donnelly (Bald Nob),
and R. Martin, and Miss Marguerite Hartmann ("Beulah," Dundee). Mr. James Hartmann, of Dundee, is the only son.
The funeral will take place to the Dundee cemetery to-morrow afternoon at 5 o'clock.
