He was born Sept. 12, 1924, in Portersville, to Howard ""Pete"" Leise and Mary "Tillie" Barkley.
He married Dorothy Elizabeth Whiting on March 3, 1967. She preceded him in death on July 22, 2004.
He was a 1942 graduate of the former Muddy Creek High School.
A self-employed farmer, Glenn also worked for Sankey Feed Mill and Stuart Sawmill. He formerly worked for Shaffer Tractor.
He was a former Plain Grove Township supervisor.
He was a member of Plain Grove Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by a son, Donald McKnight and his wife Elaine, Gettysburg; four daughters, Virginia Crocker, Slippery Rock; Mrs. Bill (Mary Jane) Dally, Niles, Ohio; Mrs. Brad (Rebecca) Richards, Ellwood City; and Ruth E. Mayne, Hermitage; a sister, Mrs. Jack (Joan) Courtney, Prospect; two brothers, James G. Leise and his wife Barbara, Slippery Rock; and Leroy H. Leise and his wife Margaret, Portersville; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Blanche Mae Durnell and Violet Cratty; two sons, George and Russell McKnight; a grandson, Robert A. Mayne; and a brother, Hope W. Leise.
