Funeral services for Mr. Myrl P. Cochran, age 70, of Dallas, Georgia, were held on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 2:00 pm from First Baptist Church of Dallas. Dr. Gregg Potts and Rev. Alton Wilson will officiate.
Mr. Cochran was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Joel (Elsie Rae Baxter) Cochran; brothers, Mr. Jerry Cochran and Mr. Ronald Cochran.
Mr. Cochran is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Rogers Cochran of Dallas; son, Mr. and Mrs. Keith (Bonnie) Cochran of Dallas; grandsons, Mr. Phillip Cochran and Aaron Cochran both of Dallas; brother, Mr. Randy Cochran of Dallas, sister-in-law, Mrs. Jerry "Linda" Cochran of Dallas; brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Vernoy (Beverly) Rogers of Dallas; aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Neal (Louise) Black, Mrs. Jeanette Tripcony, and Mrs. Mazelle Morgan all of Dallas; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Visitation for Mr. Cochran will be held Thursday, September 3, 2009, 3:00-8:00 P.M. and Friday, September 4, 2009 until time to go the church for the service.
Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens. Deacons will serve as pallbearers.
