Phyllis Carmin Lyons passed away March 1 at her home in Camp Verde, Ariz. at the age of 79. She was the daughter of Lem and Pauline Carmin, being born at the family ranch at Orin. She graduated from Douglas High School in 1933, and attended the University of Wyoming. She married John Lemuel Lyons on April 1, 1941 at Palm Springs, Calif. To this union was born her only child, John Michael. Phyllis later married Jesse Peterson Lamb, a golf pro in Oceanside, Calif. Survivors include her son Mike Lyons, daughter-in-law Robbie; and grandchildren Robin and Mike, all of Lacomb, Canada; two brothers, Joe Carmin and George Carmin of Douglas and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Marybell Carmin (an infant) and Dorothy Kroschel and her husband. (Information was obtained from her obituary and cemetery records.)
