Shawn Olen McLaughlin, 32, of Rootstown, passed away Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at home.
Born Oct. 12, 1972, in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, a son of Fred and Carol (Himes) McLaughlin Sr., Shawn graduated from Rootstown High School in 1991. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and watching Steelers football.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Juanita (Wiley); son, Russel; parents, Fred and Carol, all of Rootstown; sisters, Deana Fletcher of Ravenna and Anitra (Chad) Roberts of Atwater; brother, Fred (Debbie) McLaughlin of Rootstown; fa ther and mother-in-law, Roger and Peggy Wiley of Rootstown, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Wood-Kortright Funeral Home in Ravenna, where services were officiated by Pastor Ken Baker. Interment will follow at Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown.
