Hugh E. Williams, 93, of Springtown, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation in Siloam Springs, Ark.

He was born Nov. 5, 1913, in Herpel, Ark., to Oscar P. Williams and Stella Nesbitt Williams.

A former resident of Mountain View, Ark., he moved to Springtown in 2001. He was a Seventh-day Adventist.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dell Faucett Williams; a son, Van Williams; five brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lyman Williams and Mary Williams of Springtown and Trent Williams of Gentry, Ark.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Nora Krein and Bob Krein of Gentry and Twila Williams of McAllen, Texas; a sister, Gladys Sorenson of Chouteau, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at the Wasson Memorial Chapel with Bryan Yeagley. Funeral services will also be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the Mountain View Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mountain View, Ark., with Lucas Williams.

Burial will be at the Herpel Cemetery near Mountain View.
