Mrs. Hufford died Friday at the Golden Age Rest Home, 4140 Grand. The widow of B.A.Hufford, a pioneer resident of Meredith drive, she moved to Meredith drive as a bride in 1897.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Jay C. Colburn and Mrs. Vera Baskerville of Des MOines, Mrs. Robert Carlson of Mesa, Ariz., Mrs. Al Cooper of Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. M.J. Gibson of North Hollywood, Calif.; two sons, Ronald B. Hufford of Eugene, Ore., and Orville J. Hufford of Burbank, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Rena Brock, Mrs. Anna Newton, Mrs.Eleanor Seibert and Mrs. Vivian Seibert, all of Des Moines; two brothers, Ben Toepfer of Des Moines and Arthur Toepfer of San Antonio., Tex.; 16 grandchildren, and 41 great-grandchildren.
