Rona Y. Hurt
Mrs. Rona Young Hurt, 80, of Friendship House, died at 5: 10 a m today at her residence after a short illness. She was a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. She was born on Dec. 8, 1899, in Wayne County. She was the widow of Walter Hurt. Survivors include three sons, Ralph of Garrard County, Wilgus of Aikens, S C. and Lyle Hurt of Lexington; four brothers, Floyd, Foxy, Ramey and Ernest Young, all of Wayne County; a sister, Mrs. Pete Orr of Todd County ; two granddaughters, Diana Ballard of Perryville and Tammy Hurt of Lexington and a great-grandson, Mark Ballard of Perryville. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Stith Funeral Home with the Rev. W. Austin Roberts officiating Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation is at Stith Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday.
