Professional Hockey Player. A noted hockey player in the minor leagues of hockey, LeSueur was born in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, in November 1881. He played the position of Goalie for several teams in the OHA-SR, FAHL, ECAHA, ECHA, CHA, and the NHA Hockey Leagues. Although LeSueur never made it to the NHL, he became a well-known player and coach in the earlier leagues of the game. LeSueur played for the Quebec City Victorias, Crescent Intermediates, Ottawa Silver Seven, Smith Falls Seniors from 1903 to 1906, Ottawa Senators from 1905 to 1914, Toronto Blueshirts from 1915 to 1916, and the Toronto Shamrocks from 1914 to 1915. Known as 'Peerless Percy', he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1961 as a Player. He passed away in January 1962, at the age of 80.
