Funeral services for Walter Lonzo Hall were held Tuesday afternoon, January 24th at the First Baptist Church in Leonard, with Rev. Caraway, pastor of Trenton Methodist Church officiating.
Burial was in Leonard Cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were: Ben Hall, Otis Hall, Floyd Hall, Harvey Hall, Floyd E. Hall, Jr. and Odell Hall.
Mr. Hall was born April 13, 1876 in Fannin County, son of Richard and Jane (Jolly) Hall. A former resident of Leonard, he had made his home in Denison the past eleven-years. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, who resides at Denison; one daughter, Mrs. E.S. Brister, Bokchito, Okla; three sons, Frank, Melvin and Guy Hall, all of Bokchito, one step-son, E.S. Mitchell, Abilene; twelve grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Tiger, Leonard; Mrs. Minnie Foster, Foster, Okla.
