She was born on September 5, 1862, in Franklin county and was a daughter of John and Juli (Duffy) Jamison, both deceased. On August 29, 1892, she was united in marriage to Albertus J. Whittaker, who died on May 7, 1933.
Surviving are one son, Albertus Whittaker, Jr., at home and six daughters: Mrs. A. Bruce Snyder of Shirleysburg; Miss Edith Whittaker of Shirleysburg and Bronxville, N.Y.; Mrs. Gordon Comstock of Peekskill, N.Y.; Mrs. D. L. Wenger, of Manheim, Pa.; Mrs. Reed Bailey of Belleville; and Mrs. Harry R. Thomas of Blain. Interment was at Shirleysburg.
