Born at Albrightsville, Pa., he was a son of the late Charles H. and Suzanne (Eckhart) Christman. Mr. Christman was a retired railroad employe and was a member of Kingwood United Presbyterian Church, Volunteer Fire Company and the IOOF of Kingwood.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ora Christman; two sons, Clifton Christman, Lima, Ohio and Loyel Christman, with the Air Force at Rome, N.Y.; six daughters, Mrs. Leona Yeager and Mrs. Vivian Ghost, both of Cumberland; Mrs. Bernice DiDo of here; Mrs. Opal Jeffries, Elyria, Ohio; Mrs. Betty Denson, Whittier, Calif. and Mrs. Barbara Anderson, Norfolk, Va.; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Winters, Horse Shoe Run; Mrs. Cass Welch, Newcomerstown, Ohio; Mrs. Katherine Searfoss, Bethlehem, Pa.; Mrs. Hannah Lehcuk, Long Island, N.Y., and Mrs. Kelley Wolbert, Stracksburg, Pa.; two brothers, Elmer Christman, of here, and Raymond Christman, Keyser; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Cora Christman, White Haven, Pa.
The body is at the Browning Funeral Home, Kingwood.
