Evelyn Ann Bangert, born July 17, 1937 to William Bangert and Dorothy nee Nuss, on September 1937, entered holy baptism in the Lutheran faith. She will always be remembered by her friends and parents as a child of loving disposition. She was cheerful, heathly until 11 December 1939, when she first became ill. She was taken to St. Anthony's Hospital in Hays January 4, and died two days later due to streptococcus infection of the throat in spite of all medical attention she had.
Survivors are her parents,sister, Janet 4; grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. J. B. Nuss and Mrs. Mollie Bangert, Russell; great grandfather, Fred Nuss, Sr.; great grandmother, Mrs. Mary Hettinger, Sterling, CO.
Funeral Tuesday afternoon at the Bender Hill Church by Rev. F. Podszus. Burial in Russell's Lutheran Cemetery.
