J. Pearl Sage
She was born Oct. 12, 1930, at Gibson City, a daughter of Kenneth and Lela Mae Lowery Allen. She married Richard Lee Sage on Aug. 29, 1948, at Le Roy. He survives.
Other survivors include her parents, Le Roy; three sons, Mike (Marsha) Sage, Le Roy; Steve Sage, Kansas; and Chuck (Jackie) Sage, Heyworth; three daughters, Pat (Mike) Lange; Vicki (Ed) Kline; and Donna (Jeff) Johnson, all of Le Roy; six great-grandchildren; one brother, James (Anita) Allen, Le Roy; and one sister, Louise (Ralph) Wilson, San Saba, Texas.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Scott (Carrie) Kline, Robert Kline, Nikki (Kenney) Unstattd and Adam Johnson, all of Le Roy; Jason Sage, Chicago; Aaron Johnson, Fort Worth, Texas; Ryan Lange, Gibson City; and Karly Sage, Heyworth.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Allen, and one sister, Evelyn Crumbaugh.
Mrs. Sage retired in 1994 from Country Companies Insurance in Bloomington.
Mrs. Sage was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Le Roy. Pearl was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed.
