Greg is the son of Byron Conrad Smith and Private. He grew up in Arleta as well as Granada Hills. He graduate from Kenny High School.

Greg passed away in peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, April 30th, 2011 of Choliangiocarcinoma, a very rare cancer of the liver. He was 50 when he passed away and the father of 2 sons. Greg was a people pleaser, full of life, quite the jokester, and always willing to lend a helping hand and would make you smile. He had a huge collection of baseball caps. He loved racing, rodeo, stunt work, water skiing, motorcycles, country music and scuba diving. Greg was a certified E. M. T. He was on team rescue for the International Hot Boat Association, the National Jet Boat Association, and the American Power Boat Association. Greg was at one time employed by the Motion Picture Industry and for over the last 30 years was self employed as an electrical contractor, owner of Turn it on Electric.

As Greg would say "Be happy no Worries…"

The celebration of Greg's life was on June 18, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Eternal Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary in Newhall.
