Chloe A. Thomlinson, daughter of Richard and Hannah (Potter) Thomlinson, died in Oswego Hospital, September 25, 1929, at the age of 74 after an illness of five months.

She was married to Clayton L. Baker, June 24, 1875, by Rev. J.H. Hicks at the home' of her uncle, E.P. Potter of Lacona, with whom she made her home while attending Sandy Creek High School. Clayton L. Baker was a brother of Howard F. Baker, Lacona, and Mrs. M.F. Thomas, Sandy Creek, and of Dr. W.G. Baker of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Her home for a number of years was in the west in 1898 she returned to Lacona where she resided until two years ago when she went to Oswego to live with her sister, Mrs. John Washburn.

She leaves to mourn her loss, Mrs. George C. Baker and son of Washington, D.C., and niece, Mr s. Myron Stone of Oswego. She was a member of Christ Church of Des Moines, Ia., and a member of the order of the local Eastern Star.

The funeral services for Mrs. Chloe Baker, who died Wednesday at the home of her sister in Oswgeo, will be held there on Friday at two p.m. and the burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Sandy Creek.
