Hugh M. Eagle, aged 52, died at a Spencer hospital on Friday morning after a brief illness from bronchial pneumonia. His home was on Spring Creek, Rt. 3, Palestine.
The body was removed to the Pomroy funeral home in Elizabeth and taken to his home on Spring Creek Saturday.
Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Cecile Park Eagle and several children by a former marriage, Mrs. Effie Buffington, Mrs. Pauline Clark, Mrs. Edith Marks and Vernon Eagle, all of Wirt County.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Hill Grove church and burial was made in the church cemetery.
