NILES-- Mrs. Viola May Weaver, 47, 917 Pearl street, St. Joseph, died at 2:45 p.m. yesterday in Memorial hospital where she had been a patient for three weeks.
Mrs. Weaver was born in Niles, Jan. 21, 1923, and had lived most of her life there until moving to St. Joseph 18 months ago.
Survivors include two sons, Robert of St. Joseph and Jackie of Buchanan; two daughters, Miss Mary Ellen Weaver of Elkhart Ind.. and Mrs. Joyce A. Wiltfong of St. Joseph; a brother, Keith Diehl of Baroda, and eight grandchildren.
Her husband, Albert, died Feb. 23, 1969. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Pifer funeral home. Niles. The Rev. Sidney Short, pastor of the First United Methodist church of St. Joseph will officiate.
Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery, Niles. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Thursday.
