Blanche I., age 83, of 3637 Pillsbury Av. S. Member of Park Ave. United Methodist Church. Survived by 2 sons, Harold, Mpls; Robert, Bloomington; daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Bliel, Palmetto, GA. 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Maude Haslip, Mpls., Mrs. Grace Culler, Columbus, TX. Services Sat. 10:30 am Werness Brothers Chapel, 37th St. & Nicollet Av. Interment Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Chapel beginning Fri 4 pm. If so desired memorials may be given to donor's choice."
Blanche's obituary does not mention the cause of death, but a close look at her death certificate reveals that she died as result of a automobile accident, she was riding in a taxicab that was involved in a collision with a bus.
