Retired Miner Dies In Local Hospital
Leonard Greco, 77, retired coal miner and stone mason's helper,
died in a local hospital at 12:05 a.m. yesterday after a long illness.
He resided at Beckley Junction.
He is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Josephine Sanna, and Mrs.
Louise Cernuto, of Fitzpatrick Road; Mrs. Mary Cumbo, of Beckley
Junction, and Mrs. Teana Miller, of Dry Hill Road; and three sons,
Toney Greco, of Cova Street, Beckley; Frank Greco, of Beckley,
and Samuel Greco, of Edwight. He also is survived by 24 grand-
children and five great-grandchildren. His wife died in 1933 .
The body will be removed from the Keyser Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
today to the residence. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at
the residence, the Rev. John Halpin officiating. Burial will be made
in Calfee Cemetery.
