Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Abbie Smith of Pollock; two daughters, Mrs. Maggie Mertens of Springfield, Ohio and Mrs. Louella Humphries of Hessmer; one brother, George Smith of Pollock, a sister, Mrs. Rhoda Myers of Jonesboro; 15 grandchildrena nd seven great-grandchildren.
Remains will be at the family residence until 3 p.m. Sunday when services will be held from the Pleasant Hill Baptist church. Interment will be in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Hixson Bros. Funeral Home in charge.
