VEGA - Anthony Paul Groneman, 15, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2005.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Vega. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Antony Punnackal, CMI, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Vega.
Anthony was born Aug. 2, 1990, in Amarillo to George and Lelia Groneman. He was a sophomore at Adrian High School. He was active in FFA, FCCLA, and basketball. He also helped coach the younger kids in basketball. He enjoyed reading books and playing video games.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Groneman.
Survivors include his parents; two brothers, John Groneman and wife, Jayce, of Fort Hood and Miles Groneman, of Vega; a sister, Machaela Groneman, of Vega; his grandparents, John C. and Diane Beckman, of Dalhart, Bob Skarke and Carolyn of Dawn, and Leona Groneman of Vega; six uncles, Larry Groneman, Mark Groneman and Calvin Groneman, all of Vega, Willard Groneman of Lubbock, Frank Groneman of Exetor, R.I., and Joe Beckman of San Antonio; four aunts, Joyce Hill of Lubbock, Vickie Groneman of Muleshoe, Barbara Jarnagin of Vega and Katie Skarke of Dawn.
The family will be at 6519 FM 3319 in Vega.
