Mr. Mike Pinto Jr., 86, of Hagerstown, died early morning Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.


He was the husband of the late Rosalie Pearl Mason Pinto, who preceded him in death on Aug. 11, 2011.


Born July 29, 1925, in Washington, D.C., he was a son of the late Mike Sr. and Rose Artiglere Pinto.


He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.


Mr. Pinto was manager of Coss Welding Supply Inc., Hagerstown; and formerly a manager with Roberts Oxygen Company Inc., Gaithersburg.


He was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks 378, and Order of the Moose, both of Hagerstown, and The Improved Order of Red Men Tribe 84, Williamsport. He actively participated with bingo at all three clubs.


Surviving are his daughter, Patty A. Reinmuth of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Carlyn Brown, Jean Reinmuth, and Tina, Michael and Jeannie Pinto; several great-grandchildren, including Mia Reinmuth, and Emma and Olivia Brown; as well as several nieces and nephews, including James and Shirley Higgs of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; and his loyal and devoted companion, "Dylan."


Besides his wife and parents, Mike was preceded in death by his son, Mike Pinto III; and several brothers and sisters.


The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is handling the arrangements. There will not be calling at the funeral home. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
