You know it is very strange about Nancy's birth and death dates for I am looking at her death certificate obtained from the Mo. website and it shows she was the daughter of James Newell of PA (I knew this) and Eliza Core also of PA. She was born 3 Aug 1838 in Clairn Co., PA (I've also verified that) and died of bronchial pneumonia & old age in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO on 3 Aug 1926. She was buried at Raymore on 5 Aug 1926. The information on the death certificate was given by her son. I can see how sometimes people get confused about the birth dates but what I don't see is why the date of her death on her headstone is incorrect. Someone evidently made a boo boo. Anyway, I'm not telling you that you should change anything I'm just passing this on for I found it interesting.
