Son of (late) Arthur B. & Getha Fisher Amos. Served as 1st Sergeant in the US Army during the Normandy D-Day invasion in WWII. He was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, European and Africa N-Middle Eastern medals. Member of VFW and Melrose Garden Grace Brethren Church. Harrisburg; served in the US Postal Service form 1949-2001 and retired in 2001 as supervisor in Harrisburg. Survived by his brother Paul Amos, Florence, NJ. Also survived by a nephew and 2 nieces.
