Calvin Blunt

Calvin Blunt, 75, of 728 E. Market St., died Sunday at 5:45 a.m. at Greene Memorial Hospital where he was taken by firemen Friday.
A retired employe of Gentile AF Depot, he was born April 9, 1895, in Xenia, the son of William and Liza Jackson Blunt.
He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Disabled American Veterans and Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Esther; a daughter, Mrs. James White of Columbus, and one niece, Mrs. Hazel Gentry of Xenia. He was preceded in death by one sister and a brother.
The Rev. J. S. Hanley will conduct services Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Winfrey Funeral Home, 335 E. Market St., where visitation will be Tuesday 4-9 p.m.. Burial will be in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
