Ann married 1st, Frederick O.A. Sherrod. They had 5 children before he died in 1848. They lived on the Chantilly Plantation southeast of Tuscumbia, Alabama near what is now the intersection of U.S. Highways 43 and alternate 72.
She married 2nd, Doctor Samuel C. Farrar and they lived in Jackson, Mississippi until he died 24 October 1867.
She moved back to the Tuscumbia area with her sons until her death on 5 May 1874.
