Evelyn M. Myers December 7, 1924 – March 3, 2012 Evelyn Maurine Bartlett was born on December 7, 1924, in Ridgeway, Missouri, to Hubert Noel Bartlett and Bernice Arlene Rake Bartlett. She married William Allison "Bud" Myers on June 21, 1947, in St. Joseph, Missouri. They moved to Midway City, California, and then to Cedaredge, Colorado, where they raised their children. Evelyn and Bud owned and operated a convenience store and a floral shop in Montrose in the 1980's. They then retired and went "on the road" in their travel trailer, visiting many areas of the country. They retired to Grand Junction, Colorado, in 1990. Evelyn is survived by her son, William Noel Myers (Judy) of Grand Junction, Colorado; Ellen Sue Snellgrose (Don) of Joplin, Missouri; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her soul mate, Bud, and her mother and father. Evelyn was a wonderful homemaker and cook, but most of all, she was a wonderful, loving mother. No formal service will be held and private inurnment will be at Veteran's Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado at a later date.
