LaDonna L. Howard, 68, of Altamont, KS, passed away June 27, 2005, at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born Jan. 15, 1937, to Eldon and Fannie (Vail) Taylor of Parsons and lived nearly her entire life around the Altamont area.
In 1958 she married Billy Jo White. He preceded her in death in 1982. She married Buster Howard in 1984. They were later divorced.
LaDonna loved making crafts, especially ceramics and woodworking. She attended many craft shows.
She graduated from Labette County Community High School in 1955. She was employed at Newberry's in Parsons, IMI in Parsons, and worked at Vallis Printing in Cherryvale for 24 years before retiring in 1999.
Those surviving are two sons, Eldon White and wife Janet, Oswego; and Clarence White and wife Cathy, Altamont; six grandchildren, Billy White, Joey White, Sheldon White, Angela White, Denis Overman and David Overman; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death were her parents and a daughter, ElDonna.
Funeral services Thursday, June 30, at the Mound Valley Cemetery of Mound Valley.
