OBIT - Raymond Close, 75, of Magnolia died Saturday, November 14, 1992 in the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
He was a member of Knoxes Creek Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee, and a member of Magnolia Masonic Lodge.
He was retired from Crucible Materials Corp., and was an electrician.
He is survived by his wife, Freda McCubbin Close and three sons: Donald Close of Magnolia, Kenneth Close of Royal Palm Beach, Florida and Danny Close of Bowling Green; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 17 in the chapel of the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with the Rev. Darrell Hensley officiating. Burial was in the Pikeview Cemetery.
