All the references sources are extracted from Public Records, the information is condensed into pertinent details (additional facts can also be obtained from the records).

Side Note: Pertaining to names, dates, and locations, I will indicate them exactly as indicated on the record sources (to include spelling mistakes/variations).

Visual Verification: William W. Conklin is buried in Section: MA-12-3-2, (Hellena) Helen (Barker) Conklin is buried in Section: MA-12-3-1; given this basic information, this support some relation between William and (Helena) Helen. Also, William & "Helena" Conklin are buried in the Barker family plot. The family plot has a "Barker" monument and if you review the memorial of Benjamin C. Barker (Memorial ID: 86384672) he is buried in Section: MA-12-3-4. Also buried in this family plot location is Mary F. (Paddock) Barker in Section: MA-12-3-3 (she was the 2nd wife to Benjamin), and Victor H. Barker in Section: MA-12-3-5 (he was a son to Benjamin and brother to "Helena").

The 1952 California Death Certificate confirms the following:
[Name] Helena B Conklin
[Date of Birth] 28 Jul 1868
[Birthplace] Iowa
[Father] Barker
[Mother] Paddock
[Date of Death] 8 April 1952
[Place of Death] Orange County
Side Note 1: Numerous records confirm that Benjamin C. Barker (suggested father) was married twice: (1st Marriage) 01-Nov-1858 to Marietta Humphrey, (2nd Marriage) 1885 to Mary Frances Paddock.
Side Note 2: While the Death Certificate indicates that (Mary) Paddock was the mother to Helena (Barker) Conklin, she was in fact her Step-Mother, based on the following:
[2a] As indicated by "Helena's" 1868 birthyear, she only could have been the child from the marriage of Benjamin Barker and Marietta Humphrey. She was born well before the 1885 of Benjamin Barker and Mary Paddock. Also, Benjamin C. and Marietta (Humphrey) Barker had several children after the birth of "Helena" (one of which was Victor H. Barker, born in 1875, died in 1896 and is buried as noted above in the Barker family plot with William & "Helena").
[2b] All the US Federal Census records for 1900 (for Orange, Orange County, California), 1910 (Orange, Ward 2, Orange County, California), and 1920 (for Orange, Orange County, California) had an indication "Number of Children" and "Number of Living Children" pertaining directly to Mary F. (Paddock) Barker. In all three (3) Census records, "Zero" (0) was indicated in both blocks; indicating that Mary F. (Paddock) Barker never had children.

The 1880 US Federal Census record for Alexandria, Leavenworth County, Kansas confirms the following:
[1] Head of House: B. C. Barker (age abt. 44).
[2] Wife to Head of House: Marietta Barker (age abt. 38)
[3] Household Members with Block-8 (Relationship) Indicate: "Hellena Barker" (age abt. 12) Daughter, Arthur S. Barker (age abt. 7) Son, and Victor H. (age abt. 4) Son.
[4] The record supports birthyears and birthplaces for the household members. In particular for "Helena":
[4a] Block-6 (Age) indicates 12, which supports the 1868 birthyear
[4b] Block-24 (Birthplace) indicates Iowa.
[5] The census record confirms her (Lineage) parents birthplaces as Indiana for her father and Ohio for her mother. This information become of use in later census records and records confirm that Mary F. (Paddock) Barker was born in Indiana.

The 1900 US Federal Census record for Columbus, Ward 11, Franklin County, Ohio confirms the following:
[1] Head of House: William W. Conklin (age abt. 36).
[2] Wife to Head of House: Hellena Conklin (age: note Side Note 1 below)
[3] Block-9 (Marital Status) confirmed that William & Helena were married. Block-10 (Number of Years Married) for both, 9-years is indicated; these facts target their year if marriage to "1891".
[4] Block-13 (Birthplace) indicates that Helena was born in Iowa.
[5] Family Lineage: Block-14 (Father's Birthplace): Indiana; Block-15 (Mother's Birthplace) Ohio.
[6] Birthdate: Unlike other census records, the 1900 census record documented the birth month and birthyear of the household members. For Helena the record documented July 1871, however, when you review the actual record "28" was written over 32 or 33. No explanation is given for this change in age (which would put her birthyear to around 1868).
Side Note 2: Pertaining to William W. Conklin the record correctly reflected his age of 36, his birthyear of 1863 and identifies his birthplace of Ohio.

The 1920 US Federal Census record for El Centro, Imperial County, California confirms the following:
[1] Head of House: William W. Conklin (age abt. 56).
[2] Wife to Head of House: Helena B Conklin (age abt. 56)
[3] Block-12 (Marital Status) for both, indicates that they were married.
[4] Block-19 (Birthplace) for Helena indicates Iowa.
[5] Family Lineage: Block-21 (Father's Birthplace): Indiana; Block-23 (Mother's Birthplace) Ohio.
[6] Birthyear: Block-11 (Age) for both William & Helena indicates "56-years old", this would target their birthyear to 1864.
Side Note: Pertaining to William W. Conklin, the record indicates his birthplace as Ohio.

The 1930 US Federal Census record for Orange, Orange County, California confirms the following:
[1] The record indicates Helena B. Conklin, (age abt. 66) and Block-6 (Relationship) is indicated with "Daughter", then a line drawn thru, and "Head" is indicated.
[2] Below Helena B. Conklin's entry, Mary F. Barker is indicated (age abt. 82) and Block-6 (Relationship) indicates her as "Head".
[3] For both women, the residence is confirmed to be 281 North Grand Street. The last (1910) census record when Benjamin C. Barker was living, the 1910 census record confirmed that 281 N. Grand Street was the residence of Benjamin C. and Mary F. (Paddock) Barker only.
[4] Block-14 (Marital Status) for both women, their marital status indicated that they were "Widowed"
[5] Birthyear: Block-13 (Age) indicates Helena to be 66-years old targeting her birthyear to 1864.
[6] Birthplace: Block-18 indicates Iowa for Helena.
[5] Family Lineage: Block-19 (Father's Birthplace): Indiana; Block-20 (Mother's Birthplace) Ohio.
Side Note: Block-18 indicates "Indiana" for Mary F. (Paddock) Barker. Obviously if Mary was "Helena's" mother, Block-20 would have documented Indiana and not Ohio as noted above/in the record.

The 1940 US Federal Census record for Orange, Orange County, California confirms the following:
[1] Helene B Conklin is listed alone.
Side Note: The digital overview spells her name as Helene (ending with an "E"), if you review the actual record, her name is spelled Helena (ending with an "A").
[2] The 1940 census confirms her residence to be "281 N. Grand Street".
[3] Block-12 (Marital Status) confirms that Helena was "Widowed".
[4] Block-15 (Birthplace) Iowa is indicated.
[5] Block-11 (Age) indicates she was 70-years old, which targets her birthyear to 1870.

Give the above record references, the physical burial locations of "Helena", William, Benjamin (suggested father), and Victor H. Barker (aka brother to Helena), I believe enough information has been furnished to support the suggested up-dates.
