Hand of the Cause of God and Wife of Shoghi Effendi (Baha'i Faith).

Originally named Mary Maxwell, she is oft described as "Covenant Breaker" for having failed to inform the Guardian that she could not bear children... and hence would thus destroy the Baha'i administrative order by not allowing for the continuity of the Guardianship.
She was, after Shoghi Rabbani's death in 1957... in a several decade intimate relationship with Violette Nakhjavani.
