According to Coventry RI Historical Cemeteries, he died 09 Sep 1808 in his 75th year, which calculates to a probable birth year of 1734. When the book was published in 1998 it stated that Joseph's stone was in poor condition; it could be completely illegible by now, which may be why you couldn't locate it.
