Antonio Coronado Calzada, Jr. of Monahans passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at his home in Monahans.

He was born November 5, 1956 in Sanderson, Texas to Antonio Calzada, Sr. and Edelmira Coronado Calzada. He married Elfie Jacquez on December 11, 1976 at St. John Catholic Church in Monahans.

He worked for Haliburton for 35 years and was the bulk plant manager in Odessa. Antonio was a loyal Lobo supporter especially with golf, football, and band. He loved motorcycles and his Harley.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at St. John Catholic Church with Father John Lucido officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Rita Cemetery in Sanderson.

A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012 at St. John Catholic Church. Services are under the direction of Harkey Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Elfie Calzada of Monahans; 3 sons, Tony Calzada, III of Monahans, Jeremy Calzada and his wife Dione of Monahans, and Victor Calzada of Monahans; his parents, Antonio Calzada, Sr. and Edelmira Calzada of Sanderson; 2 sisters, Yolanda Connelly of Sanderson and Josie Hernandez and her husband Richard of Monahans; 1 granddaughter, Madisyn Calzada of Monahans; and 3 generations of nieces and nephews.

Pall Bearers will include Ruben Cruz, Ricky Cruz, Andy Romo, Alex Romo, Jr., Jay Rubio, and Rene Rubio.
