PORT ROYAL - Kenneth C. Cisney, 73, of Milford Street, Port Royal, died at 6:24 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, in the emergency room of Lewistown Hospital.
Born on July 20, 1935, in Port Royal, he was a son of the late Kenneth D. and Edna (McCormick) Cisney. His wife, Gayle A. (Meloy) Cisney, whom he married on April 21, 1956, survives.
Also surviving: son, David K. Cisney and wife, Susan, of Port Royal; daughter, Kendra Whallin, of Waukesha, Wis.; grandchildren, Shanna Varner and husband, Nathan, Dylan S. Cisney, Brittany and Ian Whallin; great-grandchild, Braeden Varner; and sister, Mrs. John (Leota) Clay, of Port Orange, Fla.
He was a 1954 graduate of the Tuscarora Valley High School, Port Royal.
Mr. Cisney was a retired printer having worked for the American Cancer Society, Hershey.
Earlier in life, he had worked for Standard Steel Corporation, Burnham.
He was a member of the Port Royal Lutheran Church.
Kenneth enjoyed hunting, working on his vehicles and watching his grandson Dylan excel in racing.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Charles L. Hershberger officiating. Interment will be held Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
Viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
