Mrs. Edna Irene Smith, 70, a resident (of Albuquerque, New Mexico) for a little over a month, passed away Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Congregational church and is survived by her husband, Harry H. Smith, in Dearborn, Mich., a son, Harry H. Smith Jr., here, and a brother, Collier Moffett of Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich. Private services will be held in the Mission chapel at the Exter-Tonella Mortuary at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Clarence E. Parr will officiate. The body will be taken Friday on train 124 to Huron, Ohio, for interment. Albuquerque Journal 6 Jan. 1955.
