He was born Nov. 21, 1926 in Hamilton, Mo. to William and Rosa (Bratcher) Banks. He married Barbara E. Carter on Oct. 12, 1953 in Fostoria, and she preceded him in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Irene Banks, Fostoria; two grandchildren; a sister, Rozella Dennis, Toledo.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Roy, Clarence, Robert and Richard; four sisters, Lucille, Ruth, Mildred and Christine.
Mr. Banks retired in 1991 from Seneca Wire Co.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay.
