She was born May 11, 1911 at Ohiopyle, a daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth Gales Burnworth.
She was a residen tofPittsburgh for over 40 years and was a former employee of the U S Steel Co Canteen at Homestead.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest P Bender; one son, Allen Ditmore of Las Vegas, Nev.; one foster daughter, Linda Gibson of Wilkinsburg; two brothers, William and Wilbert Burnsworth of Connellsville and two sisters, Mrs Dale (Sarah) Ritenour of Donegal and Mrs Shirley Sherlock of Detroit, Mich.
She was predeceased by one brother, Sherman and one half-brother, Clyde Connor.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 10 am with burial in Normalville Cemetery
