MADISON - Wayne Arnold Christensen, age 85, passed away on Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at University Hospital, Madison.
He was the son of Carl and Zuella (Graves) Christensen. His marriage to Mildred Edna Briggs took place on May 25, 1940, in West Union, Iowa. Wayne was a bricklayer for most of his life and loved building fireplaces. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on Jan. 6, 1990 and always enjoyed sharing the Bible's hope with people he met. He loved to raise exotic pheasants. He also enjoyed playing cards with numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Gerald Christensen, Floyd Christensen and Warren Christensen.
