Mary Katherine Good, 80, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Fleur Heights Care Center.
Mary was born December 29, 1930 in Des Moines. She graduated from North High School. Mary owned and operated Mary's Doll Hospital, where she restored and repaired dolls. She raised basset hounds and was a collector of many things including antiques and rocks. Mary will be fondly remembered as a very faithful woman.
Mary is survived by her sons, William LaVern and James Dale Good; grandchildren, Adam and Brandon Good, April Sample and Elliott Evans; and brother, Richard Maskrey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert "Dale" Good; children, Mary Ellen and Thomas Good; brother, Mike Maskrey; and her sister, Pat Swanson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
