Shirlene was born August 14, 1939, in Provo, to Cloyd Billington and Millie Stubbs Booth. She attended schools in the Provo area and graduated from Provo High School. She married Hal L. Halladay on September 10, 1957; they later divorced. She worked at Muir Roberts Cannery, in Provo; The House of Representatives mail room, in Salt Lake City; and, Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, in Provo, for the last 20 years, where she retired last April.
Shirlene touched the lives of many people with her heart of gold, sense of humor, and selfless acts. She will be truly missed by many.
Shirlene is survived by 5 children: Halene (Misi) Inoke, of Spanish Fork; Brad L. (Lanette) Halladay, of Orem; Hal Brent (Kelli) Halladay, of Lehi; Suzanne (Kent) Weight, of Springville; Heather Halladay, and her companion, Brian Serba, of Mapleton. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She will be remembered for all her little miracles. We love you.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at 11 a.m., in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo. Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.; or, Wednesday morning, from 9:30-11 a.m. before the service. Interment will be at the Provo City Cemetery.
