Father of Katherine Wright, Regina, Austine & James Butler Jr., all of Wilmington. Step-father of Willis Phelps Jr. & the late Quenesta Pannell of Wilmington. Brother of William Skinner, Clarence Thomas, both of Wilmington & Mary Collins of Easton, MD. Nephew of Ola Loper of Wilmington. Uncle of Emmanuel Butler of Baltimore, Md. Brother-in-law of Rebecca Tunnell of Wilmington. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends ate invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday, October 10, at 8 pm from Shiloh Baptist Church, 23rd and Washington Sts. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
