LONG BRANCH -- Alex Ferraro, 56, of 603 Wardell St., died yesterday at the Monmouth Medical Center, here.

A lifelong resident of this city, he was a procurement supervisor at Ft. Monmouth. Mr. Ferraro was a Navy veteran of World War II and a communicant of Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, here.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Concetta Mazza Ferraro; a son, Savvy Ferraro, here; a brother, Samuel Ferraro, here; five sisters, Mrs. Anna Blasi of Red Bank, Mrs. Catherine Massaro of Oceanport, Mrs. Josephine Muccio of West Long Branch, Mrs. Helen Sharick and Mrs. Edith Della Pietro, both of Fords, and two grandchildren.
