LuAnn Antonio Edwards, of Middletown, formerly of Florida, died Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at her home from cancer. She was 48.

She had worked as a professional seamstress in Lakeland, Fla. and was also a freelance artist who did sketches and portraits. She was born in Delaware April 14, 1954 and was a 1972 graduate of Conrad High School. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Smyrna Ward.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Janice and Albert Antonio of Georgetown; two sisters, Kathleen Long of Smyrna and Janice Ozturk of Georgetown; a brother, Mark Antonio of Middletown, with whom she lived; an uncle, Rodney Santa Barbara of New Castle; and many nieces and nephews.

Services were held July 22 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Smyrna.

Interment was in the Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, c/o Bishop James Estep, 404 Reading Lane, Middletown, DE 19709.
