Born in Jersey City, N.J., she was the daughter of the late John and Rosella Lucas.
Virginia was involved in Cub Scouts as a den mother and had a passion for gardening, and she loved bowling. She was a secretary from 1956 until 1990 for many businesses in Chester County.
She was a loving person and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
Survivors include a son, Robert McMahon; grandchildren Bruce McMahon (Shannon), Lucas McMahon and Brenda Masi (David); and great-grandchildren David and Eliana Masi, and Caleb McMahon.
A prayer service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, 610-269-3080.
Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
