Laurens, Jan 22 – Miss Lois Stewart
died today at 11 o'clock after a brief illness at
the home of her father, H. D. Stewart, on Smythe
street, Watts Mills Village.
Miss Stewart was an estimable young woman
and was formerly connected with a store operated
by the company at Watts Mills, a position that she
held for a number of years.
In addition to her father, she is survived by one
sister, Mrs. Hugh Cunningham of Clinton and four
brothers, George Stewart, Watts Stewart, Reuben
Stewart, and Rufus Stewart, all of Laurens.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon,
and interment will be at a family graveyard near
Martin's Crossroads in Youngs township.
