Frank O. Hoffman, Sr., 80, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas. Hoffman was born in Pratt, Kansas, May 29, 1931, the son of John and Burvelle Hoffman. At the age of 10 he moved to Hutchinson. On April 10, 1951 he married LaWanda Langrehr of Ellinwood. Frank served in the National Guard, HQ Btry, 130th Command. He was a retired truck driver. Hoffman was a member of Crossroads Christian Church.

Hoffman is survived by his wife; six children, Frank Jr., Scott, Vicky, Nancy, Joan and Donna; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grand children; two sisters, Dorothy Edwards and Betty White. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Crossroads Christian Church, Hutchinson, with Pastors Wayne Pittman and Lee Keele presiding. Burial will take place at Fairlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 1:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Hospice House of Reno County, Crossroads Christian Church and the American Diabetes Association and may be left in care of the funeral home.
