Jesse Andrew Wright (1987 - 2012)

Jesse Andrew Wright, loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at the age of 24. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, in Brown, Owens & Brumley's Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Burial: Jesse will be laid to rest next to his mother in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Owens & Brumley Funeral Directors.

Jesse was born March 20, 1987, in Fort Worth to Jim D. Wright Jr. and Theresa McKee. He enjoyed wrestling and lacrosse while attending Centreville High School in Centreville, Va. While attending The Hyde School in Bath, Maine he excelled even more at wrestling and lacrosse and was a summer staff counselor at The Pine Tree Summer Camp for handicapped kids and adults. He attended Springfield College for one year in Springfield, Mass. and then moved to California where he loved to play Frisbee-golf, golf, billiards and DJ-ing, and he dearly loved the California weather and lifestyle. Jesse worked at the Ritz Carlton in hospitality services at the Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, Calif., and was looking forward to transferring in a few weeks to the Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Jesse was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa.

Survivors: Father, Jim D. Wright Jr. and wife, Mary C., of Bristow, Va.; grandparents, Jim and MaryAnn Wright of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Dianne Colburn of Fort Worth; and great-grandmother, Florus Chandler of Fort Worth. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Jennifer Wright Dantzler and husband, Patty Davis; cousins, Hannah and Garrett Dantzler and Payden and Nicole Davis; and many friends.
